Well, it's not Campbell's soup, but it is Earth's Best Organic Rice Cereal. (Yes, it's organic. Mom's trying her hardest to instill good eating habits and exercise routines right from the start.) So, we (feeding me is a group effort) started cereal today, a few days earlier than anticipated. After watching and grabbing for every bite of mom and dad's salad this evening, I made mom feel guilty enough about eating in front of me that she finally broke out my real food (if you can call it that).

It was a very exciting moment to eat with a spoon and dad got the honors of trying this whole feeding thing out with me. I think I liked it, I took about 6 baby spoonfuls before becoming disinterested. Not too bad for the first try. Mom says I'll be eating this now for at least a couple of weeks before I graduate to pureed vegetables and fruits.

I must say though, I'm not to sure about this bib thing! First, mom says to try and get the cereal in my mouth and not be messy. What's the fun in that? So, I get this continous swipe of the spoon across my chin, isn't the bib suppose to catch that part of the food? Then, after all of that effort, the bib comes up, wipes my mouth off when we're done, and then it goes in the laundry. So, tell me mom, why are you trying so hard to keep me so clean throughout feeding time?
