Here's a picture of my first bath at home. You can see that it was so traumatic for me that it made Mom cry. I was screaming terribly. Even though the water was warmed up, I was cold and not very appreciative of having been woken up from a good long nap just to get wet.

This is a classic! I remember crying when AG got her heel stuck that first week as they checked for jaundice...my crying made my mom (who was in the office with me) cry, then when we walked out my dad saw both of us upset and thought we must have found out awful news! No, it's just that Mamas can't stand to see their babies cry (especially those first few days when our new mom hormones are in flux!). Hang in there! Bath time will get easier for everyone!
